In recognition of their legal expertise, Wittliff Cutter partners Reid Wittliff and John Saba were named to the 2023 edition of Texas Super Lawyers. Reid was selected for business litigation and John for intellectual property litigation.

This round of Super Lawyers recognitions marks Reid’s 10th consecutive year of selection; meanwhile, John is celebrating four consecutive years on the list.

“We’ve worked hard to assemble one of the best litigation teams who truly understand the nuances of IP and business law not only in Texas, but also across the U.S.,” Reid said. “It’s an honor to be recognized for that dedication.”

A founding partner of Wittliff Cutter, Reid’s practice focuses on technology-related litigation and cyberlaw consulting. He has an extensive understanding of the rapidly evolving laws governing online activity, privacy, and data security. Reid is also the president of R3 Digital Forensics, which has become one of the premier digital forensics firms in Texas.

Wittliff Cutter’s intellectual property litigation team lead, John has over two decades of litigation experience and has successfully tried nearly a dozen jury trials to verdict in federal and state courts. Under John’s leadership, the firm’s IP practice was recognized in the latest edition of Chambers Regional Spotlight, and in 2021, he won a patent case in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas that was among the Top 50 Texas Jury Verdicts of the year.
