Complex Commercial Litigation

Complex Commercial Litigation

Each of our litigation partners has practiced law for more than two decades and has first-chaired complex and high-stakes bench and jury trials in Texas’s state and federal courts and before arbitration tribunals. Our litigation team includes a former Boies Schiller & Flexner litigation partner and former senior DuPont in-house litigation counsel, two former state prosecutors, a Division Chief from the Texas Office of the Attorney General, a former equity litigation partner at a national law firm, former BigLaw senior associates, a professional recording artist, a licensed pilot, and a litigator with a Ph.D. from Yale.

WC’s team brings the sum of these rich experiences to each of our clients’ problems. We prepare every case as if it is going to trial and recognize many if not most civil cases settle. Regardless, at each point in an engagement, our goal is to put our clients in the most advantaged position possible. We believe the best results are achieved by small, dedicated teams who understand the client’s business and objectives.

Because of our team’s expertise and track record of success, Wittliff Cutter is one of a select few firms to be recognized by Chambers USA in its Regional Spotlight Guide, and it is one of the very few firms to be recognized in two practice areas: dispute resolution and intellectual property.

WC represents clients, including publicly traded companies, privately held companies, other technology and manufacturing businesses, and high net worth individuals in all forms of business disputes, including civil RICO and Lanham Act claims, breach of contract, fraud, other business torts, unfair competition claims, theft of trade secret claims, licensing disputes, supply chain disputes (including non-conforming/counterfeit parts), and shareholder and fiduciary litigation. WC’s litigation clients come from a broad array of industries, including ag-biotech, manufacturing, financial institutions, software and technology companies, and digital media companies.

We encourage you to review our team’s representative experiences at Wittliff Cutter and in their prior positions. This collective experience speaks both to the quality of work done by this firm and our team’s varied and rich professional experiences.
