Joshua Kelly

Joshua Kelly has significant experience (in both state and federal courts) in all phases of commercial litigation, including pre-suit counseling, injunctive proceedings, filing and answering lawsuits, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, trial, and appellate review. He has represented clients in the restaurant, residential construction, commercial real estate, oil and gas, shipbuilding, and software industries. Joshua also has significant experience counseling government entities on matters ranging from contract formation to litigation defense.

While in law school at the University of Texas, Joshua was a student attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic; an editor of the Texas Environmental Law Journal; and a research assistant to Professor Wendy Wagner, whose research focuses on the intersection of law and science.

Joshua was raised in the Austin area and currently lives in East Austin with his wife, Kayla, and their dog and cat.
