Wittliff Cutter partners Reid Wittliff and John Saba have once again been named to the Texas Super Lawyers list. Reid was honored for his expertise in business litigation and John was highlighted for his excellence in intellectual property litigation.
This is Reid’s 11th consecutive year and John’s fifth consecutive year to be recognized by Super Lawyers, published by Thomson Reuters. Lawyers are chosen for the list after a rigorous multi-step selection process that includes peer nominations and independent research.
“We’re honored to be selected as Texas Super Lawyers again this year,” said name partner Slade Cutter. “Wittliff Cutter has one of the most experienced IP and business litigation teams not just in the state but in the country, and we’re proud to be recognized for that work.”
Reid is a founding partner of Wittliff Cutter. His practice focuses on technology-related litigation and cyberlaw consulting, with a focus on the rapidly evolving laws governing online activity, privacy, and data security. He is also the president of R3 Digital Forensics, a premier digital forensics firm, and helped found the North Texas Regional Computer Forensics Lab (NTRCFL), a multi-agency initiative created to tackle the growing volume and importance of digital evidence in the law enforcement arena.
John has more than two decades of litigation experience and leads the firm’s intellectual property litigation team. In 2021, he won a patent case in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas that was among the Top 50 Texas Jury Verdicts of the year. He was recently named to the 2024 edition of Austin Monthly’s Austin’s Top Attorneys.
Wittliff Cutter was one of the few Texas firms to be recognized in the 2024 Chambers USA Regional Spotlight Guide for its excellence in two practice areas: Dispute Resolution/Litigation and Intellectual Property.
