Partners Ryan Botkin and Karen Vladeck will present at the Austin Bar Association’s Annual Bench Bar Conference on April 13, 2018. The Bench Bar Conference is one of the bar’s biggest annual events, which will be held at the Eilan Hotel in San Antonio. Ryan will be presenting on a panel titled the Texas Citizens Participation Act: Current and Future Boundaries of “Anti-SLAPP” with Judge Bob Pemberton, Third Court of Appeals, Pete Kennedy, Graves Dougherty Hearon & Moody and moderated by Jennifer Hopgood, Texas Office of Attorney General. Karen will be presenting on a panel titled Arbitration v. Litigation: 3 Perspectives on Contemporary Issues with JoAnn Dalrymple, Dalrymple ADR and Paul Schlaud, Reeves & Brightwell and moderated by Judge Gisela Triana, 200th District Court.
“It is a great honor for our panels to be selected for the annual Bench Bar conference,” Karen said when asked about participating. “This is one of the best opportunities for our local legal community to interact with each other and, most importantly, our judiciary. It has also been a real pleasure working with lawyers from other firms and Judge Triana to prepare our presentation.”
