Kavid Singh, whose practice focuses on litigation, joined Wittliff | Cutter following several years of government service, including four years at the Office of the Texas Attorney General and three years of judicial clerkships.
Kavid brings insight from federal and Texas Supreme Court clerkships to Wittliff | Cutter. Kavid was the inaugural clerk to U.S. District Judge Brantley Starr of the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. Most recently, he clerked for Justice Eva Guzman and Justice Evan A. Young at the Supreme Court of Texas before joining the Wittliff | Cutter litigation team.
After graduating from the University of Texas School of Law, Kavid joined the Office of the Texas Attorney General. He resolved hundreds of confidentiality disputes stemming from public information requests in the open records division. Kavid also brings strong transactional skills to Wittliff | Cutter developed at the Office of the Attorney General. Not only does Kavid draft and review contracts, he also trained a division on writing legal services agreements and spearheaded a project to streamline contract drafting and internal approval processes.
