Congratulations to Wittliff Cutter partners John Saba and Jack A. Simms, Jr., who have been named to the 2024 edition of Austin Monthly’s Austin’s Top Attorneys.

The attorneys were selected based on votes from their peers, who were asked to nominate only those whose work they had personally observed. Austin Monthly then tallied the votes, vetted the finalists, and selected the top recipients in each practice area.

Jack and John bring unique perspectives to their litigation practices. John leads Wittliff Cutter’s intellectual property team and, prior to entering private practice, served as a prosecuting attorney in the Texas Attorney General’s cyber crimes unit. He has also been recognized by Super Lawyers since 2020.

Jack leads the firm’s complex commercial litigation team. Before joining Wittliff Cutter, Jack was a senior litigation counsel at DuPont, managing disputes for its Ag-Biotech and Communications Businesses. He was also a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Boies, Schiller & Flexner, where he, along with Wittliff Cutter Senior Counsel Dr. Ian Crichton, secured a complete defense award on behalf of DuPont in a multi-hundred-million-dollar arbitration against Monsanto.
