  • Lead trial counsel for DuPont and Pioneer in AAA arbitration defending multi-hundred-million-dollar claims brought by Monsanto for breach of license and tortious interference. Obtained complete defense award denying all claims for damages and injunctive relief.
  • Defense counsel in the first case brought by the Texas Attorney General under the Texas Anti-Spyware Act.
  • Defend largest privately held seed company in the United States in complex civil litigation, including RICO, fraud and racial discrimination claims.
  • Defended largest privately held seed company in the United States in litigation brought by former general counsel.
  • Lead trial counsel for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission in federal trial in the Western District of Texas regarding constitutional challenges by major retailers to Texas laws governing the liquor industry.
  • Successfully represented clients in defending against motions to dismiss pursuant to the Texas Citizens Participation Act, including defending district court decisions on appeal.
  • Defended a Fortune 50 technology company in a major federal lawsuit involving allegations of business interference, violations of software copyrights, and global antitrust violations.
  • Represented the independent alumni association of a Big 12 school in bet-the-entity intellectual property litigation against its parent university.
  • Represented an Austin e-commerce company in litigation arising out of a major private equity investment, and subsequently served as outside general counsel on compliance and intellectual property matters.
  • Represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of multi-million dollar patent infringement lawsuits before the U.S. District Courts
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a major Texas insurer against claims of hostile work environment, retaliation, and discrimination.
