Brittney Mollman

Brittney Mollman is a civil litigator that advocates on behalf of corporations, small and large business entities, and individuals. Brittney’s clients span a variety of industries including construction, technology, insurance, health care and oil and gas. Brittney has litigated, mediated and arbitrated disputes arising out of business contracts and torts, as well as employment matters. Brittney advises clients on litigation risk and strategic approaches to conflict management, in an effort to get her clients to the most reasonable and satisfactory resolutions.

Brittney obtained her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2013, where she graduated cum laude. She practiced in Missouri and Illinois for two years before moving to Austin with her husband in 2015. Before law school, Brittney attended Emory University and graduated with her BBA from the Goizueta Business School.

  • Represented a flagship Texas public university system in a highly technical historical boundary dispute.
  • Represent landowners in litigation against multiple mining and electric utility companies concerning breaches of agreements, negligence and other claims.
  • Represented international automobile company in a number of warranty litigation matters arising in the States of Texas, New Mexico and Colorado.
  • Represented construction and remediation industry client in numerous disputes on both sides of the docket, including disputes arising out of breach of contract and employment matters.
  • Represented small business client in dispute with former employee arising out of workplace injury. Advised client of the risks of proceeding on to trial, considering known facts and law, and determined that resolution in advance of trial was preferable. Successfully negotiated settlement on behalf of client at mediation.
  • Represented small technology company in lawsuit pursuing injunctive relief for trade secret misappropriation against defendant corporation and associated individuals.
  • Represented national academic health care institution in medical malpractice arbitration dispute, resulting in a favorable outcome for the client. Researched and drafted memoranda supporting legal arguments and factual positions for use at hearing. Prepared fact witnesses for testimony, consulted with physician expert witnesses, and prepared direct and cross-examination of both fact and expert witnesses.
  • Represented corporate client against employee seeking breach of contract damages and pursuing wage and hour claims under state law. Won a unanimous jury verdict, resulting in a take nothing judgment against corporate client.
